Adult Sunday Morning Study: The Feasts of Israel
August 25 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Sunday, happening 8 times
Are you one of the followers of Jesus Christ who only wants to study the New Testament because you believe that is where all the information relative to Christianity is found? Well, I encourage you to think again, because the God of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament are one and the same. And there are so many aspects of Christianity that our Lord has subtly revealed in important events, people’s lives and even in the laws and responsibilities God passed along through Moses to the Jews, and to us. If we will take some time to investigate these prophetic glimpses of significant features of Christianity, we will discover our faith and confidence in God will be even more rich than before. Please consider joining us in a relatively brief 8-week study of the seven key Festivals (or Feasts) that God required the ancient nation of Israel to observe. We will discuss the characteristics of when and how these celebrations were observed (and still are by some orthodox Jews). Furthermore, you will learn some surprising revelations concerning these feasts that are direct reflections of Christianity, illustrating more examples of the sovereignty of God Almighty. We welcome any and all who have a hunger and thirst to know more about and grow closer to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The classes will meet at HICC at 9 am on Sunday mornings, starting on August 18. Please address and comments or questions about this study to Ron Price (email@example.com).
