We might look at the evil and the brokenness in our world, the way the powerful in our world completely ignore God, and be tempted to despair. “What can I do to make a difference?! What can I do to bring about change?! I’m just a small voice in a vast, noisy world. I am just one person among billions.”
But Jesus is going to show us today the power of one small act of love. He’s going to teach us that the secret of ministry in the kingdom of God is that the greatest change comes from the tiniest of actions. Jesus is going to demonstrate that one small act can change a city.
