In Revelation, John looks forward to the time when Satan, the accuser of Christians, the one who leads the whole world astray, is hurled down from heaven. And John provides the blueprint for how this is done.
Being such materialists today, we may not be aware of the ways Satan has been working to accuse us and lead us astray. Satan was a very real figure in the Gospels. Jesus identified him, Jesus recognized Him, Jesus was very aware of the voice and presence of Satan throughout His life.
There’s a good chance we are not. So, we might want to reflect on the ways Satan has been accusing us and trying to lead us astray. How has Satan been attacking you? How has he been trying to scare you, discourage you, and shape your identity? If we want to overcome our enemy, we have to be able to correctly identify and recognize him.Click here to download the sermon outline
