In the midst of a society decimated by the Black Death, suffering the economic effects of disastrous harvests and undergoing major political upheaval resulting in crippling taxation, Julian of Norwich wrote that Jesus said to her: “All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”
This is the blessed assurance we have in Jesus. What would it take for you to live with absolute peace and deep joy today? What would it take for you to live with the unmovable attitude and spirit … that all shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well?
